Monarch offers an array of support services for students enrolled at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). Candidates for the Integrative Community Studies (ICS) program are offered personalized services for an optimal experience. Individually designed supports for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities advance their capabilities for living independently, and students are supported each academic year through plans that can include:
• Teaching and assisting with daily living skills community participation
• Interpersonal skills
• Personal health
• Wellness and safety
• Navigating campus life
• Linking to campus activities
• Developing life profiles
• Pre-job training
• Coaching while on the job
• Determining a career path
• Continued guidance for life transitions related to community living
