Monarch’s substance use disorder and addiction treatment services include a range of supportive programs and interventions designed to help individuals struggling with addiction to alcohol, tobacco, opioids or other substances. We aim to promote recovery through personalized treatment plans, counseling and the use of medication to support recovery, when appropriate.
Whether you or a loved one are struggling with addiction to alcohol, opioids or other substances, Monarch’s caring and compassionate staff can provide support. By addressing the physical, emotional and social aspects of addiction, we help empower individuals to reclaim their lives, develop healthy coping strategies and build a supportive community for lasting recovery.
Following an assessment, Monarch’s team of mental health professionals will design a specific treatment plan to meet your needs and support your recovery. Our treatment process may include individual and group therapy and/or the use of medication to treat addiction and sustain recovery. The use of medication in combination with therapy has proven useful for many patients in reducing symptoms, cravings and the likelihood of relapse.
The Use of Medication in Treating Addiction, Including Opioid Use Disorders
Medication can be used to successfully treat alcohol and tobacco use disorders. In addition, for people struggling with the use of opioids, medications like Subutex, naloxone (Narcan) and naltrexone (Vivitrol), and other buprenorphine and buprenorphine/naloxone systemic medications may be provided, if appropriate. Therapy and medications to support addiction treatment are offered virtually from anywhere in North Carolina or onsite at one of our outpatient behavioral health clinics.
