The people Monarch supports with intellectual and developmental disabilities may experience depression, anxiety or substance use disorders like others, and Monarch has treatment options available for them.

“Understanding Addiction and Developmental Disabilities”

“Understanding Addiction” is a specialized curriculum for people living with intellectual or developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders. The free curriculum is designed for mental health, addiction and I/DD professionals as well as family members and other caregivers working with people with I/DD. The 14-part series highlights key concepts about addiction through easy-to-understand animated videos and printable handouts.
