Meaningful employment can be an important part of recovery from mental illness and/or substance use disorders. Monarch’s Individual Placement and Support – Supported Employment (IPS-SE) program helps individuals living with mental illness or addiction find jobs and maintain employment.
Individual Placement and Support focuses on helping people who are living with mental illness or substance use disorders find and keep jobs. It is designed for individuals who are 16 years old and older and have not been able to get a job, or whose work has been interrupted as a result of their diagnosis. IPS-SE helps people choose the right job, get hired and maintain competitive, paid employment in the community. The service is centered around the individual’s needs and goals.
IPS-SE is a community-based service and Monarch team members meet with individuals where they are — at home, on the job or in the community — to provide support.
