Monarch supports people in a variety of settings such as their own home, at their parent’s home, at school or in the workplace. The support provided is based on each person’s individual needs and goals to enhance their lives as they recover from a mental illness or substance use disorder.
Community-based services, also referred to as enhanced services, are designed to improve the range of care for people with chronic and complicated mental illness and substance use disorder diagnoses and who may have experienced serious and persistent mental illness for a long time.
Often, people in need of higher levels of support find that community-based support, with mental health professionals meeting them where they are, can be beneficial.
Community-based, or enhanced services, often begin following a direct referral to the service or a comprehensive clinical assessment by Monarch that shows higher-level services may be helpful.
