Personal Assistance Services (PCS) are provided to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and services are state funded through the applicant’s local Managed Care Organization (MCO). Through Personal Assistance services, Monarch staff will assist individuals to participate in preferred activities with which he/she requires support. This support can include regular living activities in the home, developing skills or just some company to community activities or treatment programs.

Eligibility for personal assistance services is determined by disability diagnosis and individual assessment of person’s abilities and needs. It is provided according to an individualized service plan.
