Monarch’s Supported Living Services are provided through the North Carolina Innovations Waiver and provide the level of support needed so an individual can successfully live in his/her own home (alone or with a roommate).
Monarch staff provide personalized support based on each person’s unique needs, promoting self-determination and community involvement to maintain and increase independence.
Supported Living Services may include:
- Personalized Assistance: Support to help manage activities of daily living, such as cooking, cleaning and personal care to promote independence.
- Community Integration: Participation in the community fosters social connections and enhances overall quality of life. Staff can support an individual’s interests as they engage in the community.
- Skill Development: Support may include building skills like budgeting, food preparation and navigating community resources in order to foster independence.
Monarch’s services do not include staffing during sleeping hours and the service is not provided in conjunction with group home or Alternative Family Living (AFL) services.
