Personal Care Services (PCS) are provided to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and are funded through the state by the individual’s local managed care organization (MCO). Personal Care Services help people to develop personal interaction abilities and social skills to become more involved in the community. A staff member will work directly with individuals in any location, not including hospitals, nursing homes or intermediate care facility group homes.
