A Message from Katherine Fisher

Hello, I’m Katherine Fisher, a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, holding a Masters of Science in Nursing from Georgia State University and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Queens University of Charlotte. I am passionate about providing psychiatric care to the community, with a focus on providing individualized and thorough assessments to each and every patient. 

With experience in consultative-liason care at WakeMed Hospital, I gained valuable knowledge with diagnoses and treatment of psychiatric conditions with complex medical conditions. I also have experience providing both outpatient care and attending to urgent psychiatric concerns. Currently, I assist Monarch’s Behavioral Health Urgent Care providing care to individuals in need, with a goal of helping to navigate crises. 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. My favorite place to be is outside and at the beach. I look forward to working with you, and helping you with your mental health needs.
