A Message from Dr. Jacqueline Smith
My name is Jacqueline Smith, MD, a child/adolescent/adult psychiatrist and Medical Director of Outpatient Services at Monarch.
From the chaos and joyful noise of Sunday morning children’s church to my work as a psychiatrist, my journey in medicine has been defined by a deep and enduring commitment to nurturing the well-being of others.
My approach to psychiatry is rooted in the same principles that guided my work in Sunday School: compassion, patience, and a deep respect for the individual. I believe in the inherent resilience of our patients, and I am committed to working collaboratively with them and their supports to address their mental health challenges.
Outside of my role at Monarch, I enjoy time with my loved ones, savoring dark chocolate, and sipping my herbal tea. I look forward to the opportunity to work as a teammate on your journey to health and wellness.
