Dr. Amy Underwood

A Message from Dr. Underwood:

Hello, I am Dr. Amy Underwood, MD at Monarch. I work at both the SECU Youth Crisis Center in Charlotte and provide outpatient clinic medication management to child and adolescent patients. I enjoy working with children and providing a family-centered model of care. I have worked in multiple states over my years of practice and believe that approaching from a cultural perspective is important. Some of my areas of specialty include ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, OCD, and personality disorders. Outside of medicine, I enjoy taking care of my many animals and enjoying the beauty in nature. I look forward to collaborating with you in the treatment of your child.
