People Supported by Monarch Host Presentation

“We had several individuals interested in participating because of last year’s performance” said Bettie Brockington, Compensatory Education teacher at RCC. “The individuals really enjoyed the parts they were portraying and most of them really enjoyed performing to an audience.”

The program allowed for the individuals to study history, culture and the arts with this project. “We are so thankful to Ms. Brockington, Robeson Community College, and the community who supported these individuals in this endeavor” said Dr. Peggy Terhune, CEO, Monarch. “This is an outstanding opportunity for the people supported by Monarch to overcome barriers as well as give back to society”.
