New partnership brings Pfeiffer’s programs to Monarch employees

“The goal of Pfeiffer’s Partnership Program is to develop a common interest in the educational development of workforces so they are able to remain competitive within a global environment,” said Dr. Keith. “Pfeiffer is very pleased to partner with Monarch as they maximize the talents of their extraordinary staff.”

Monarch is a nonprofit organization that provides numerous services and supports to thousands of people statewide with developmental and intellectual disabilities, mental illness, and substance use disorders. All employees, regardless of their geographic location, are eligible to participate in the program as Pfeiffer offers classes in a number of delivery formats, including online.

“Monarch is elated to partner with Pfeiffer University to offer targeted, high-caliber degree programs to our staff statewide,” said Dr. Terhune. “We have always been a proponent of professional development and have proactively sought to identify and implement innovative training and educational opportunities for Monarch employees. Through our agreement with Pfeiffer, we can greatly expand the accessibility of higher education to current staff to help them in their professional pursuits, which not only benefits the employees who choose to pursue this opportunity—and our organization—but ultimately benefits the people we support.”
