Monarch Raises Over $32,000 in Golf Tournament
For the tournament’s finale, the ReMax hot air balloon dropped numbered golf balls from the air, and the ball that landed closest to the pin walked away with $2,000. The winner of the golf ball drop was Jimmy Russell of Albemarle.
The tournament winners were David Palmer, Jody Cook, Jody Huneycutt, and Doug Owens. “We are so pleased with the turnout for this first time event and we appreciate the support of our sponsors and players who believe in our cause” said Dr. Peggy Terhune, CEO, Monarch. The organization is already beginning to prepare for the 2nd Annual Dreams Take Flight Golf Tournament on Friday, April 23, 2010.
