Announcement for Monarch Parents and Families
Monarch leaders and staff members across North Carolina are actively watching Hurricane Humberto and potential Hurricane Imelda as they approach the coast. We are following our safety and emergency protocols as we prepare for possible inclement weather over the next few days.
We have ensured that our group homes have necessary emergency supplies, including medications and food. We are prepared to move residents to alternate safe locations in advance of the storm, if conditions warrant.
We will communicate directly with families of residents if conditions change and if relocation is needed.
Please check MonarchNC.org and follow our social media channels for updates and any community or day program closings as well.
Our primary goal, as always, is to keep your loved ones and the staff who care for them safe.
