Monarch Conducts Leadership Class

The group, which meets from August-January is comprised of individuals who were hand-selected by regional directors from throughout the state. The attendees meet monthly to learn more about individual departments within Monarch as well as resources in the community, such as the structure of the state services system, the finance department, customer relations, and technology.

Current participants are: Stacy Harward, Marcus Leneau, Glendale Little, Pete Santi,Patricia Wilson, Alisha Holland, Glinda Harper, Telonna Hinton, Linda Spalding, Jonathan O’Brien, Brian Young, Lorrie Varner, Elizabeth Randle, Wanda Everett, Kamisha Steele, Cerrissa Griffin, Jermaine Hill, Karon Click, DeWayne Hairston, David Carroll, and Dana Alley. Participants are eligible for a promotion after completing the specially designed curriculum.

Monarch provides support and resources to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness, and substance abuse issues throughout North Carolina.
