Monarch, Club Horizon merger provides expansion of mental health services in Wake County
Terhune said Monarch is working to ensure people who receive services and attend the program will not experience a disruption of those services. The program will operate in its current location at 101-B Forest Dr., Knightdale.
Monarch has been a major provider of mental health services in Wake County since July 2013, when the company acquired services that were formerly provided by Wake County. Monarch currently provides outpatient therapy, psychiatric services, assertive engagement, peer services, and Open Access, which allows individuals who need services to walk-in without an appointment for the first visit and receive a comprehensive clinical assessment, a treatment plan, a psychiatric evaluation, with prescriptions if needed, and a referral to the proper level of care. Monarch operates offices in Cary, Fuquay-Varina, Raleigh, Wake Forest and Zebulon.
