As part of its expansion of services into central North Carolina, Monarch launched Mobile Crisis Services in Chatham County in June 2023.
This marked the first phase of a two-phase expansion in partnership with Vaya Health. The second phase included the opening of a behavioral health outpatient clinic in Pittsboro in October 2023, which was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting event in November.
Supporting the Community with Mobile Crisis Services
Monarch already provided Mobile Crisis Services in Bladen, Scotland and Robeson counties in southeastern North Carolina before expanding into Chatham County. These services provide crisis help, support and prevention for adults, teens, and children going through a serious mental health emergency. Available 24/7, 365 days a year, the services can be accessed in Chatham County by calling (800) 568-7235.
The goal of Mobile Crisis Services is to help people feel better, stay safe and connect them to the right care or support they need during a crisis.
