Stanly Industrial Services Host The Art Effect

Monarch will host a community art show, “The Art Effect” from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24 at Stanly Industrial Services, a day program for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, located at 730 Greenwood St., Albemarle. The public is invited.

The people Monarch supports will showcase and sell their unique, colorful artwork and beautifully-crafted one-of-a-kind gift items. Proceeds benefit people with disabilities who attend Stanly Industrial Services. Local vendors are encouraged to participate and sell their wares.

Vendors interested in booth opportunities should call no later than Monday, Aug. 19 to reserve a space. The fee is $25.
