Elizabethtown Mayor Welcomes Monarch
Friends and neighbors celebrate new location at Open House

Elizabethtown, NC – Mayor Sylvia Campbell joined Monarch staff, individuals supported by Monarch, and family and friends to celebrate Monarch’s new location in Elizabethtown. Monarch’s Bladen Opportunities Unlimited is a premier Adult Developmental Vocational Program which has recently relocated from 404 Fourth Street, Bladenboro to 412 B Peanut Road, Elizabethtown. Monarch staff prepared an Open House event end of May for people to stop in and learn about the many support services and programs for individuals with developmental and physical disabilities living and working in our community.

Education, job training, life skills coaching, and personal support are just a few of the services provided by Monarch at the new Peanut Road location. The program is designed for success with a plan for each person enrolled to attain a successful job placement within the community.

Mayor Sylvia Campbell shared her enthusiasm for Monarch’s new facility, “On behalf of the Town of Elizabethtown, I want to say how happy we are to have Bladen Opportunities located here. The wonderful opportunities that it makes possible for those who are in need, are a blessing indeed! I am so impressed with the staff and management, and because it is located adjacent to our business, I am amazed by its use. We are so glad to have the facility available to help those needing these services in our area.”
