| Event Description: | The Beaufort County Community Collaborative is sponsoring a series of workshops to bring information and resources to families, educators, and anyone in the community committed to promoting good mental health for the children of Beaufort County.
This is an excellent way for people to learn more about mental well-being in children; meet and speak with professionals representing mental health service providers and other support systems in Beaufort County; learn about the services available through the Department of Social Services, the school system, mental health agencies, and the court system; gain a new perspective on the importance of recognition and treatment of mental health issues in order to preserve the dignity of each child and foster their self-worth.
Free workshops are offered 6:30-8:00 pm
