Monarch not only cares for people, but also cares for the environment where we live. We share your concerns for the earth and the future of all of our children.

• To save on paper use for our communication materials, we try to direct people to our web site for information.
• The people we support join in the recycling effort by collecting aluminum cans from local businesses and taking them to the recycling center. They use the money they earn for trips, parties and ice cream parlor visits.
• Most Monarch group homes are part of their community recycling program.
• In our homes the people we support are using “going green” bags to use for shopping trips instead of accepting the paper or plastic bags the stores offer.
• Many Monarch sponsored businesses use recycled pallets for their shipments. Not only do they save trees, but they also save money cutting costs nearly in half.
